Led by The Reverend King Cam on vocals, with Valentino’s dynamic harmonica and vocals, Mike Conway and Tim Collins—bringing that edge on the Blues guitar. With Jason Simmons grooving on bass and Bill Statt driving the rhythm, they summon the spirit of Little Walter, Magic Sam, Hollywood Fats, and T-Bone Walker—deep blues, jump, and swing that moves you.
This is a band for dancing and partying, and the Five-Cent Kings
mean business. These are real-deal veterans, not some Blues-jam pickup band. The pedigree of the band includes Good Rocking Sam, The Spoonbenders, The Fat Bastards, Valentino and the Piedmont Sheiks. They’ve shared the stage with bands like The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Delbert McClinton, C.J. Chenier, John Nemeth and more. Members have competed several times in Memphis at the International Blues Challenge.
