The Fitton Center throws open its doors and throws the best party of the summer to kick off the 2026-2027 season. We’re shaking it up a little this year with some local flair. The Wonderlands - currently based in Nashville – have strong area ties and this homecoming performance highlights their infectious jazzy, alt-pop sound and fuels the energy for our open-house party. Beyond the band, as always, we’ll have plenty of food and drink available for purchase, a transformative gallery-opening celebration, live-art demonstrations, interactive opportunities and performances by some of our resident companies. (In conjunction with The Soul of Black Folks: 250 Years of Creativity, Leadership and Innovation exhibition opening.)
