Join The Soul Sanctuary for a FREE Community Sound Bath and Drum Circle!
All are welcome. Bring a friend or come solo. No prior experience is needed.
🎵🧘♀️ Sound Bath: 6pm-6:45pm
I encourage participants to wear comfortable clothing and bring any items that will help you feel relaxed during the sound bath, such as a yoga mat/anti-gravity chair, blanket, pillow, sleep mask, or whatever is needed for your comfort during our time together.
A sound bath is a deeply immersive experience where participants are bathed in the sounds and vibrations of various crystal singing bowls. Each singing bowl provides a different tone and frequency that aligns with frequencies naturally occurring in our bodies to restore harmony and promote wellness. If you have not experienced a sound bath before, you’ll start by laying or sitting comfortably with your eyes closed and I will guide you through a brief meditation to assist with settling down the mind and body before I begin. As you relax, you will feel the calming instruments bathe you in sound and frequency as the various vibrations converge to wash over you and serenade your mind, body, and soul back into alignment.
🪘🎶 Drum Circle: 7pm-7:45pm
Bring a drum or percussion instrument if you have one and a chair if needed. This is a freestyle drum circle open to all ages and drumming levels. Feel free to participate up to your comfort level. You are welcome to play an instrument and create a magical experience with us, dance and flow with the rhythms, add your own unique sound by singing or chanting, or relax and let the vibrations wash over you. We will have a variety of small percussion and shaker instruments available for community use during the event.
A drum circle is a fun and engaging way to reduce stress, improve mental health, boost mood, increase energy, and ground yourself after your sound bath meditation journey. Drumming induces a state of relaxation by synchronizing rhythmic patterns and promoting deep breathing that releases endorphins and boosts serotonin levels, leading to more feelings of joy.
