Join us at 6 p.m. on March 3 at the DNR’s Green Bay Service Center for another meeting in the East District spotlight series, where Fisheries Biologist Jason Breeggemann will discuss the history and management of Green Bay walleye and muskellunge, followed by a more in-depth synopsis of new projects that were implemented in 2024 to help manage both species. The new projects that will be discussed include a walleye reward tag study, in which over 4,500 walleyes were tagged in the Green Bay system in spring of 2024, along with some new sampling and PIT tag initiatives for muskellunge.
