Fish bottle painting

Join us in person for a fun-filled pottery painting session where you can transform a hand-thrown fish-shaped bottle into your o-fish-al masterpiece! You can expect a range of underglazes, transfers, stencils, and a range of cat mugs to choose from! Each ticket is good for 1 bottle per person Work will be painted in session, then taken to be fired in Aspen's kiln. Firing can take anywhere between 2-4 weeks to process and then will be available for pickup at the next class.

About The instructor:
Aspen is a queer, chronically ill ceramicist and illustrator whose work explores the intersections of identity, grief, and resilience in weird, whimsical, and wacky ways. With 8+ years experience in working with clay, Aspen teaches pottery classes at a variety of sites in the Twin Cities and suburbs and loves to cuddle their two cats in their free time. Alongside their studio work, they are a mental health practitioner and advocate, bringing a holistic awareness of healing and care into their creative process.
