First Time Homebuyers Getting Your Homeownership Dream

Welcome to the Greater Washington Urban League’s First-Time Homebuyers Class! We are thrilled that you have taken this important step toward homeownership by educating yourself on the homebuying process.

This class is designed to provide you with valuable knowledge about purchasing a home. The Housing Division offers this Homebuyer Education Workshop to guide participants through key aspects of the process, including how to:

• Apply for a loan,
• Prepare a budget, and
• Resolve credit challenges.

During the workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with various professionals and agencies directly involved in the homebuying process. Our presenters include Lenders, Realtors, Insurance Agents, Inspectors, and a Settlement Agent, all of whom are here to provide insights and answer your questions.
