Enjoy an hour and a half of short & micro-short films, including films from our REEL QUEER project.

Reel Queer is a 5 year film project (2023–28) working with people from the LGBTQIA+ community living in the Liverpool City Region. Funded by Community Fund and Culture Liverpool.

So if you fancy seeing Apocalyptic Parties, Butterfly Effect, Witches, Vampires, Pied Flycatchers and Much More in an evening full of queerness in every dimension then come along!

First Take is an award-winning not for profit filmmaking and digital arts organisation specialising in working with oppressed communities producing radical, authentic, untold stories. Homotopia is happy to celebrate First Take turning 40 this year by showing this eclectic mix of fabulous queer films!
