The Key West Poetry Guild Poets (KWPG) share original poetry in the of fashion Robert Frost and his dear friend, Ms. Jessie Newton Porter. The Monthly Open Mic Poetry Readings of the Key West Poetry Guild began in 1977 at Guild Hall Gallery and were then hosted by local artist-duo, the Adams'.
Today the group welcomes Poets at all stages of their careers to read and share their original poetry. In the spirit of One Human Family, we hold a safe, non-critiquing space for creative expression.
The reading is free and open to the public; donations are requested to offset the cost of the use of the space.
