ALL HANDS DAY! Come out to the club and lend a hand!! We need volunteers to help put the docks in. PLEASE NOTE: The crane will be lifting the docks at 8:30. Anyone who is able to help with this process please arrive at the waterfront by 8:00 AM to help get ready.
We will also give the yard and the house a nice cleaning for the opening of the sailing season.
(If you can…bring blowers, extension cords or other yard equipment, just make sure names are on them.)
Hope to see YOU Saturday, April 5 at the club for All Hands Day. According to Pat breakfast will be ready at about 8:30 AM and then the work starts! Grab your work gloves (and maybe your rake and leaf blower) and come out! There is something for everyone! (It is called a work PARTY so there will be food. Breakfast at 8:30 AM and lunch around 12:30 PM!)
There is much work to be done to ready the club ready for the sailing and paddling season. In the yard, in the house, at the waterfront.
Any amount of time…some folks stay all day, others just a couple of hours!
All Hands Day is a day we all come out and help clean up the club and get it ready for the season.
WATERFRONT: 9:00 AM prep for the crane arrival 11:00 AM crane arrives on site.... so if you want to work on the waterfront there is plenty to do. There is always debris to be cleared when all else is accomplished!
YARD: If the waterfront isn't your cup of tea, there is work around the grounds.
Oh yea...always sticks to pick up!
CLUBHOUSE: If you don't want to work outside there is the club house. We need to get the house ready for the busy social season.

Every year we host two All Hands Days in the spring and two in the fall. Yes, we encourage volunteering throughout the year, but on these specific days we count on ALL MEMBERS to show up and help "open up" and "close down" the club. Without these All-Hands Days, we are unable to successfully operate and provide an enjoyable location to boat and socialize.
There are a lot of tasks, requiring varying levels of talent. There is a job for everyone!
Also, these days are not just work, but a great opportunity to meet your fellow club members, discuss the season, and enjoy breakfast and lunch!
We hope to see everyone at the club!
