Join us at the Montgomery College Food Forest for our regular work parties, which take place on the first Saturday of every month. Come and help transplant, sow, harvest, prune, mulch, W**d, water and whatever else needs doing.Where: Montgomery College Food Forest at the intersection of Chicago and Philadelphia Ave, Takoma Park, MD, 20912
When: First Saturday of every month
What to bring: water bottle and gardening gloves if you have them (we have spare gloves and there’s a water fountain in a nearby building if you can’t bring a water bottle).
Transport: there is metered street parking on Chicago Avenue. There are also bus stops immediately adjacent to the food forest, on Philadelphia Avenue. Ride On Route 17 and Route F4 both stop at this location.
