The City of Dothan invites the community to celebrate and honor the men and women who serve our community during the First Responders Appreciation Concert on Saturday, September 11, at Porter Park Amphitheater.
The free concert will feature nationally recognized country artist Frank Ray, with special performances by local favorites Dustin Herring and Noah Swanson. Music begins at 5:30 p.m., and a variety of local food trucks will be on site throughout the evening.
Known for blending modern country with Latin influences, Frank Ray has quickly become one of country music's rising stars. Before pursuing music full-time, Ray served as a police officer in New Mexico, making him a fitting headliner for an evening dedicated to honoring first responders. His energetic performances and hits like Country'd Look Good on You have earned him national recognition and appearances on some of country music's biggest stages. (Barefoot Country Music Fest)
Guests are encouraged to bring blankets to enjoy the show on the lawn. Admission is free, and all members of the community are invited to attend.
The First Responders Appreciation Concert is proudly sponsored by Mike Schmitz Family, Hots Deli, and Spedale MD PC Internal Medicine.
