Take a journey back to the first days of the Oval Office with this limited time exhibit!Join us to experience Washington’s Revolutionary War encampment at Tryon Palace! This handsewn, full-scale reproduction of General Washington’s sleeping and office marquee, dining marquee, baggage tent, camp bed, furniture, and more were part of his mobile headquarters while on campaign. The First Oval Office Project is presented by the Museum of the American Revolution.
This is a specialty tour and requires a separate ticket.
