The first 2026 Old Boys Reunion will take place in Round 1 at home, February 28.A huge local Derby against the newly promoted Ridge Hills! U23s KO 5pm and the 1st Team KO is at 7pm.
Once again meet at the Warner Tavern from 1pm onwards for some warm up beverages.
New Rivers coach Darren Bender will be looking to have his side primed against Michael Brockwell’s Ridge Hills.
Now that the Old Boys is an official organisation (Thanks to Barry White’s hard work) we have the ability to now raise funds to help out the Club and the Old Boys.
With that being said we are looking to confirm a number of things. Firstly we will be looking to pay tribute to the greatly loved Alan Marley who sadly, recently passed away. We extend an invitation to his former North Star family to also join us if possible.
We are hoping to secure the services of a Musician and DJ Clay Stephenson to perform that night. For those that attended our 20th Anniversary of the 2005 GF Team at Kingscliff, Clay performed that night (To be confirmed).
For those that received a retro jersey from 2005 at Kingscliff we ask that you wear it on this day. Those who don’t, wear any old Rivers colours that still fit!!!

It should be a massive night and hoping plenty of supporters can turn up and make it a similar feeling to the XXXX League days and from the 2000s!
