First Nations Knowledge Streams Forum 2026
About this Event
Avaivilla Group in partnership with The First Nations Women’s Collective (FNWC) is bringing together a gathering of First Nations wisdom holders from around the globe. The Knowledge Streams Forum this year focus on First Nations female wisdom holders and their journey as community leaders, activists and business owners.
The forum theme is ‘First Nations Women, Community Activism and Resilience’, reflecting on the many stories of community building and leadership by First Nations women around the world.
This gathering brings like minded First Nations women who are at the forefront of building their communities, organise events/activism and carry community projects that benefit families. Their women who stand up and protest against governments at the risk of their own freedoms, their women who start community businesses for the benefit of all and their women who hold and practice First Nations cultural knowledge systems that maintain the flow of intergenerational wisdom. The forum gathering offers women a space to hold truth telling, build understanding of each others communities and the impact of polycrisis events on First Nations communities across the world. It is an opportunity to gather, network, share culture and connect with other cultural sisters from across the oceans.
Hear stories from First Nations women from the arctic to the pacific, stories that inspire, that nurture and that connect all of us in the global village. Hear from our sisters from:
- Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander First Nations, Australia
- Māori First Nation, Aotearoa
- Ni-Vanuatu First Nations, Vanuatu
- Arctic First Nations, Siberia (Russia) and more.
A line up of First Nations wisdom holders, activist and community leaders will be displayed as we get confirmation.
