Often the life of an educator is a lonely one, especially at the beginning of the year when there's so many items on the "to-do" list. Here's a few tips: Establish mentorships. DKG offers you a wealth of information and help through our incredible members. Engage with students and parents -- you're all on the same page, even though it might seem adversarial at times. One last one -- connect with colleagues. Our first meeting of the year is September 8 at Long Acres Ranch, and you'll have the opportunity to share ideas and life with other female educators.
