About this Event
The First Impressions fashion photo series by Morganeliz features 12 Black, queer, plus-size folks based in the DMV area, styled in thrifted pieces curated to reflect their unique aesthetics.
Discover the introspective + unique series in person at the showcase on Saturday, February 22nd from 7-10 PM at in Brentwood, MD.
The event also doubles as a QTBIPOC singles mixer—an opportunity to connect with like-minded queer BIPOC folks in a relaxed, vibrant space featuring an interactive conversation activity and plenty of good energy!
miXt Food Hall (which is right on the border of DC) also has an array of amazing local food vendors and great drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to help you set the mood.

There'll be a donation bin at the event for clothing, shoes, and accessories on behalf of our partner Swap DC. Donations must be washed, and all sizes, brands, and children's clothing are accepted.
Swap DC fosters a creative, diverse community through workshops and events that promote recycling and reduce waste. Since 2015, they’ve recycled over 12 tons of clothing, upcycled waste, and supported those in need.
