FIRST IMPRESSIONS – MUSLIM MARRIAGE EVENT

DATE AND TIME: 17th November 2024 from 2.00pm-6.00pm

LOCATION: Malmaison Birmingham, 1 Wharfside Street, Birmingham, B1 1RD.

4.20pm - 5.50pm (Individual Matching)

5.50pm - 6.00pm (Event Closing)

ABOUT THIS EVENT:

· Open to all British Muslims who are single, divorced, reverts, and widows regardless of Caste/Colour/Cultural/Ethnical Background.

· It is imperative that the dress code policy is adhered to for both men and women! (See Poster)

· Once registration is completed (to verify online ticket), participants will be seated at tables consisting of an even number of Males and Females.

· Please note that this event will require a prompt start do arrive with plenty of time.

· Everyone at the event will need to contribute as we will have an array of topics based not only on marriage/religion but psychological, situational, hypothetical, and creative.

· Each table rotation will last between 10-12mins to discuss amongst yourselves about the topic provided - use this opportunity to showcase your character and personality.

· All participants will get the opportunity to meet each other during the table rotations.

· A short break will then be provided once all rotations are complete.

· The final part of the event will consist of the individual matching where our volunteers will approach participants to see who they think they are compatible with and then taken to a separate seating area to have a further discussion within a reasonable time-frame.

· If you are comfortable in exchanging contact details please do so in a respectful manner.

· Our Volunteers will be at hand throughout the event for any questions or queries you have.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

· All tickets purchased online include the Eventbrite fee.

· Tickets cannot be purchased on site, transferred to someone else or used at future events if you are unable to attend as no refunds will be provided.

· If you are unable to find someone during the individual matching, there will be no refunds.

· You will be refused entry if the dress code is not adhered to as we aim to maintain standards.

· You will be removed and banned from future events if you are found to be currently married, looking for second wife, come with false pretentions, or display inappropriate behaviour.

· We do not allow infants/children at this event even if accompanied by a Chaperone/Merham.

· It is important to arrive on-time for this event as doors close at 3.00pm and late entries will be refused and no refunds will be given (we will not accept any cash at the door or bank transfers). This also includes anyone who comes towards closing expecting to have entry as it will be unfair for participants who have taken part. NO EXCEPTIONS!
