It’s the first Bike Newton group ride of the year! This is a great one for kids, families and folks of all ages. And a good way to warm up for Mass Bike Month in May. From the Newton Library, we’ll go down the Commonwealth Ave. Carriage lane to Auburndale, through the Cove north and along Charles river path in Waltham, to Newtonville and back to the Library.Meet in front of the Newton Main library on Homer St. in Newton Center, and we’ll leave at 10:00 am Saturday morning. This is a family-friendly, “no-rider-left-behind” ride and all ages are invited, but all young children must be accompanied by an adult. Bike helmets are required. 10 miles roundtrip. Be sure to check bikenewton.org for last-minute changes.
