First Fridays celebrate the vibrant creativity in Waterville through a wide array of arts experiences. On the first Friday of every month, visit Main Street in downtown Waterville to meet artists, see performances, listen to live music, eat delicious food, shop at local businesses, enjoy the arts, and come together as a community.

4–7pm—Ticonic Gallery
Opening Reception for Youth Art Month (grades K–5)
Enjoy food, juice boxes, swag bags for youth artists, and more!
4:30pm—Paul J. Schupf Art Center lobby
Music with Elm City Music School in the Hub lobby area by local students.
4–7pm—Greene Block + Studios
Opening Reception or Youth Art Month (grades 6–12)
Enjoy food, swag bags for youth artists, and more!

Open Studios at the Lunder Institute
Meet current Lunder Institute for American Art fellows, including artists working in painting, sculpture, performance, and mixed media.

A FREE flower for each artist! Stop into Robin’s Nest Florist at 173 Main St with your artist sticker from the reception and receive a flower from 4-7pm.
