Returning to the Museum of Making for the second time, Derby Poetry Festival presents the annual Adult Slam, hosted by Derby Museums. Often referred to simply as ‘Slam’, a Poetry Slam is a competitive form of Poetry, participants write on any topic they chose and are scored on their writing and performance as well as their ability to keep to a set time limit, with a winner walking away with the title.
