First Friday @ [the square]: Open Mic Night!

It's another First Friday Open Mic @ and we hope to see you there!

and showcase your latest stuff for our studio community — we'd love to hear what you've been working on! We'll have guitars and pianos available so you can travel light, or BYO. Our Junior Engineers will be trying out some test recordings, so you might even walk away with a rough demo you can share!

We hope you'll stop by [the square] on your First Friday art walk, or maybe even stick around for the duration — it's looking like a cold one, so let's get cozy in community together!

is Portland's new creative hub at Monument Square in the heart of downtown Portland's Arts District. It is home to Monaco Studios and Equal Measure Arts, who offer accessible recording time for musicians & educational programs for aspiring audio engineers. But [the square] is more than a studio — it’s a hub for all types of creators, including podcasters, videographers, photographers, and immersive media installations (in partnership with PORTL&). With events and workshops available to its members as well as the general public, [the square] is an inclusive space for music, arts, education, and community.
