The MTSU Department of Physics and Astronomy Star Parties are on the first Friday of each month.For the first Spring Semester 2025 Star Party, Dr. John Wallin will discuss the Amazing Aurora Adventure. The discussion begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday, February 7, in Room 102 of Wiser-Patten Science Hall.
Friday Star Parties are FREE and open to the public; children are welcome. The format is a 30- to 45-minute lecture followed by a telescope viewing at the MTSU Observatory, weather permitting.
FREE Parking is available in either the Judd-Sims lot or the Library lot. Both are located on the north side of Alumni Drive between North Baird Lane and Womack Lane. You will not be ticketed after 4:30pm on Fridays.
