The First Friday crew invites you to Play in the Street downtown!
Holden Street will be closed to host live music, food trucks, and vendors. Enjoy giant blocks, cornhole, and other fun street activities. Downtown businesses will have extended hours, and many businesses and galleries will host openings and other special events focused on starting fresh!
The following events have been planned by downtown businesses and organizations:
-Rising Glass Brewing Company Stage: Live music 5-9:00 p.m | Holden Street
-DJ: Rebel Beat Soundsystem on Holden Street | 5-9:00 pm | Holden Street
-Lighten Up Acoustic Duo of Tracy Kittler and Jim Sauve, playing popular, well-known songs on acoustic guitar and harmonica with lead and harmony vocals | 6-8:00 p.m. | Mohawk Marquee
-Oh Hello! Face Painting: Free face painting | 6-8:00 p.m |Holden Street
-MOSAIC: MIGRITUDE | Gallery 51 5-7:30 p.m. | 51 Main Street

About FIRST Fridays:
FIRST Fridays is a grass-roots initiative intended to get folks downtown on the first Friday of every month by asking the galleries and businesses of North Adams to stay open late!
FIRST Fridays North Adams was started in May of 2021 by Anna Farrington with the support of local businesses and the North Adams Chamber of Commerce.
Supporting organizations and businesses include City of North Adams, North Adams Chamber of Commerce, MCLA, Walkaway House, Northern Berkshire Community Coalition (nbCC), Andrew Fitch, Anna Farrington graphic arts & design, and supporting community members.
