February's First Friday features Paula Lively and her live music photography in our gallery, and a Songwriters Open Mic (open to ALL! Come play your original song!)Paula R. Lively, born and raised in Zanesville, Ohio, is passionate about photography. A graduate of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, she has been a photographer for over twenty years. Her favorite genre is photojournalism: photographing weddings, families, babies, senior portraits, special events, and volunteers. Paula belongs to Professional Photographers of America, Professional Photographers of Ohio, Art CoZ, and the Zanesville Museum of Art.
Paula has been a freelance photographer for the Zanesville Times Recorder, A2J Dance Kompany, Rave and Dance Wear LLC, The New Bakery, D & R Studio LLC, The GODZ and Appalachian Outlaws bands. Paula photographs for The City of Zanesville in the Secrest Summer Concert Series. and was recently hired to be the official photographer for the band Appalachian Outlaws.
Some of Paula's work has been published in Applebee's Zanesville, CNN/Travel/Las Vegas website, Wikimedia, Wikipedia, National Geographic, and the John and Annie Glenn Museum. She was the official photographer for The Knights Templar of The Eastern Division of Ohio for the wreath laying for The Unknown Solider in Arlington Cemetery.
