Join us for Funky Fridays—a monthly community event series in Riverside’s historic Five Points!
Funky Fridays is a community-driven revitalization initiative designed to increase foot traffic, support local merchants, and re-energize public life in the historic Five Points neighborhood. Each month will feature themed events, live music, games, and merchant activations. Designed to welcome all, the series takes an eight to 80 approach, meaning there will be something for kids, seniors, and everyone in between.
Here's what you can expect at our October event:
✨ Walking 5 Points trivia with Waffle Cone
✨ Music performance with Jorr @ Rodrigo's from 4-5pm
✨ Music performances with Nikayla the phuNK + 1blackfrend from 5-8pm
✨ Fall-themed coloring station, bubbles, + sidewalk chalk throughout the entire event
✨ Face painting and balloon artistry with BB at Edge City
✨ Popcorn and Phantom of the Opera (1925) with Wingard
*Weather-permitting, a rain plan update will be provided on Thursday if conditions are too intense due to developing storms in the region*
