First Friday Five Points is a vibrant monthly activation that brings the spirit of Denver’s historic jazz roots back to life along the Welton Street corridor in the heart of the Historic Five Points neighborhood. Known as the “Harlem of the West,” Five Points transforms every First Friday into a dynamic cultural experience where live jazz spills out of local venues, filling the streets with rhythm, energy, and community.
Guests can explore a lineup of participating venues featuring talented local and regional musicians, while enjoying the neighborhood’s rich mix of food, art, and culture. From intimate performances inside iconic spaces to lively sets that energize the corridor, First Friday Five Points creates an immersive celebration of music and place—honoring legacy while building a modern cultural marketplace.
This activation is made possible through a collaborative partnership between Denver Arts & Venues, the Five Points Business Improvement District, Conjure Productions, and KUVO 89.3 FM, ensuring an authentic and elevated jazz experience rooted in community.
