You’re in for a special treat this First Friday! Visit the Heard Museum and hear a performance by this all-women singing group from the Gila River Indian Community. Vipismal Neidam: Hummingbird Singers will share songs from their culture and talk about the formation of this group that is unique from men’s singing groups.
In addition, you’ll have plenty of time to explore all the wonderful exhibitions including Heard Museum History in the 1929 Gallery showing how Maie Bartlett Heard and her husband, Dwight, founded our award-winning museum.
