Join us Friday November 1st for some Dia de los Muertos Paper Arts!
We will learn about the Papel Picado (cut paper) and make some of our own! We will also make paper marigolds from tissue paper. Marigolds are a flower with symbolism deeply tied to this holiday, sometimes known as cempasúchil, or flor de muerto (Flowers of the Dead).
This is a free event, open to the public and does not need prior registration. Participants will be asked to sign a waiver before being handed an exacto knife to create their paper cut designs.
