Join us for the First Friday Opening Reception of 'Coat of Many Colors' on Friday, June 5th from 5-8PM!Curated by YNST Magazine, this group exhibition illuminates LGBTQ+ identity across Appalachia. In a region colored by vibrant originality and rich cultural heritage, this collection explores what it means to be LGBTQ+ in Appalachia today and how individual and shared experiences come together like a patchwork forming a vibrant spectrum of selfhood and belonging.
Participating artists include:
Jessica Ammendolia, Kendra Barth, Enrique Cruz, Cooper Delamain, Maxwell Edmonds, Ceirra Evans, Jai Gervin, Carolyn (CJ) Helenski, Isa Kern, Gared Luquet, Shawn Quilliams, Lindsay Skvarek, Logan Sutherland, and Zac Wilson.
The exhibition opens on Friday, June 5th, just in time for Knoxville’s Rhinestone Festival, celebrating legendary musician and longtime ally, Dolly Parton.
Exhibition Dates: June 5 - July 24, 2026

→ Regular Gallery Hours: M-F 10AM-5PM
The gallery will also be open from 12-6PM on Saturday, June 6th during Rhinestone Fest.
