First Friday Art Walk

The First Friday Art Walk takes place the first Friday of each month, October through May, from 6 to 9 p.m. in Ocala’s Historic Downtown. This free community event celebrates local artists, musicians, and businesses, offering over 30 artist displays, live entertainment, extended shopping hours, and free family art activities provided by local arts organizations.

On Friday, December 5, the First Friday Art Walk in partnership with Sunset Songs Series will feature a special performance by Seratones at Citizen Circle at 7:30 p.m.

Hailing from Shreveport, Louisiana, Seratones blend punk, rock, soul, and R&B with electronic influences to create a dynamic sound that moves both heart and body. Frontwoman A.J. Haynes draws inspiration from Black feminism, astrology, and Afrofuturism, weaving these themes into the band’s identity and music.

Guests are encouraged to pick up an event map at the Ocala Cultural Arts tent, located on the south side of the Downtown Square.

In the event of inclement weather, the First Friday Art Walk will be canceled.
