First Draught Write-In at Two Blokes — July 30, 2026

First Draught is a monthly writer's night hosted by Rebecca Davis of Cypress & Ink Book Coaching. This is our second one, and this time, Biryani Addicts food truck will be on site, so come hungry.

Show up, order a drink (or dinner), and write. That's it — no agenda, no pressure to share what you're working on. Just a table (or three) of folks who know that sometimes you just need to be around other writers who get it.

Whether you're deep in a first draft, slogging through revision, or just trying to remember what your WIP (work in progress) looks like — bring it. All genres and all stages of the process welcome.

Rebecca will be there as a host and as a book coach if you have questions, but First Draught is first and foremost a community write-in, not a class or a workshop.

What to expect:

• Arrive, find the group, grab a drink from the bar and a snack from the food truck
• Write (or think, or stare into the distance — no judgment here)
• Chat with other writers if you want to (we may have a table for "talkers")
• Leave when you need to

First Draught is free to attend. Two Blokes Brewing is a full-service taproom with 18 beers on tap, wine, and non-alcoholic options available, plus Biryani Addicts food truck on site this month. Ample parking.

RSVPs are strong encouraged — even thought walk-ins are always welcome, RSVPing helps us know how many tables to reserve and gives the food truck a better headcount to plan for.
