Start the New Year off on the Right Foot with a First Day Hike on the Seven Mile Loop. Don’t be intimidated by the name of the trail - you choose your own distance and speed. We’ll have group hikes of 1, 3 and 7 miles, all led by experienced volunteers. It’s a great way to kick off 2026!Also, we listened! This year, rather than starting at the crack of dawn, we’ll be sending the hikes out at 10. This will give the weather time to warm up, and hikers time to wake up. Early birds are always welcome to hike on their own earlier.
This is a free event, suitable for all ages. We’ll hike rain or shine, hot or cold weather. There is no advance registration - just show up and hike!
