Come celebrate the New Year at Dos Rios with your choice of two special guided walks:
9AM-11AM Iron Gall Ink Tour: Join a State Park employee on a historical walk through time. Learn about the Oak tree gall and some surprising facts about its uses.
11AM-1PM Dos Rios Exploration: Ring in the New Year with a special guided walk into the Dos Rios floodplain. Keep your camera ready for wildlife discovery and wintering waterfowl on this very special day!
This event is free to the public. Meet at the welcome center for both walks.
Note: Dos Rios is only open for the guided walks on Wednesday January 1st, 2025. The gate will be open at 8:30am and 10:30am only for attendees of the First Day Hikes.
