Join the Amherst Town Parks Team, and Amherst Youth & Recreation, for a fun, leisurely stroll through Veterans Canal Park, and along a portion of the Canalway Trail. Take in the sights and sounds of this unique park and learn about the natural environment from our Naturalist, Carol Rogers. The perfect way to begin 2025! Please dress for the weather; boots or sneakers, and warm layers if necessary. Walk is approximately 1 mile long with some uneven sections of trail. Program is free and open to the public, but participants must register online - www.amherstyouthandrec.org - or email [email protected] to register.
