Boy Meets Girl…on a blind date…in a musical
When blind date newbie Aaron is set up with serial-dater Casey, their first meeting at a bustling New York City restaurant seems doomed from the start.
What begins as a casual drink, quickly spirals into a hilarious, high-stakes dinner. As their date unfolds in real time, the couple quickly find that they are not alone on this unpredictable evening and are faced with meddling exes, nosy parents, friends, complete strangers - and a very pushy waiter!
All you need is a little chemistry... and a lot of courage!
Can this mismatched couple turn what could be a dating disaster into something special or will their first date end before dessert?
Featuring a contemporary rock score, Tamworth Musical Society’s production of First Date hilariously captures the highs and lows of modern dating while reminding us that love often comes in the most unexpected ways.
