First Class Comedy Showcase

Buckle up: Denver Comedy Lounge is upgrading you to First Class Comedy Showcase, a graduation show for the inaugural class of DCL’s Learn Stand-Up Comedy workshop, where instructor Ben Kronberg guided a group of brave newcomers through a private jumpstart and two in-person classes covering joke writing, structure, timing, crowd work, and stage presence. What started as a handful of strangers with notebooks full of half-finished bits has turned into a lineup ready to prove it in front of a real room, and tonight they trade the workshop for the spotlight, showing off everything they’ve sharpened along the way. Settle in with a craft sake flight and a spread of Japanese izakaya plates while you watch first-time comics take their first real swing at the mic—no seatbelt required, just good drinks, good food, and a room full of people rooting for them to stick the landing.
