First (Annual?) Ottawa Whip Cracking Fun Day!

You're invited to the first (hopefully annual) Ottawa whip cracking fun day! We will start at the Pavilion at Wesley Clover Park at 10am September 12. Lunch break from 1-2 - there are plenty of lunch options in nearby Bells Corners. Then more shenanigans from 2-5. Bring snacks, drinks, sunscreen, bug spray, camp chairs - you know the drill.
What shenanigans, you ask? This is a FUN day, so no competitions. There will be demonstrations, tutorials, target practicing, can cutting, and what-have-you. ABSOLUTELY NO FIRE WHIPS OR ANYTHING FIRE! Also - this one's on me - my gift to the whip cracking community. I'm so freaking awesome...
In addition to whip cracking, please feel free to bring along other flow activities such as poi, juggling, kendama, etc.
Then, starting at 6, a fantastic evening is planned at LumberJaxe Axe Throwing! Learn how to throw an axe (if you don't already know), and try your hand at knife throwing. Pizza will be provided. Drinks are extra and they have a great bar, including some awesome cocktails and mocktails, and a wide selection of local brews.
You must make a reservation to join us at Lumberjaxe. No Exceptions! Cost is $40 per person. To reserve your spot, DM me or leave a post here indicating such. You can e-transfer me the reservation fee ahead of time or pay cash at the Wesley Clover event.
Wesley Clover also offers camping (RV and tent), and cabin rental. It's a nice place and close to many amenities.
