🍂🕯️ A TIME OF CHANGE • ONE LITTLE LIGHT 🕯️🍂
There are seasons when everything begins to change.
The leaves turn.
The days grow shorter.
One season gives way to another.
And sometimes, our lives have seasons like that too.
This year, The Firefly Guild is entering one of those seasons, with the ground breaking of Meadowlight House Cottage School.
A season of new beginnings.
A season of growth.
A season of stepping forward into something we have dreamed about for a long time.
And our very first Lantern Walk will be a celebration of that change.
You don't have to be the brightest light.
You don't have to light the whole world.
Just carry your light.
Each child will make their own lantern—one small light made by their own hands.
Then, as evening falls, we'll carry those lights together along the path.
One little light.
Then another.
And another.
Until suddenly, what began as many small lights becomes one beautiful, glowing path through the darkness.
✨ One little light can make a difference.
✨ One family can make a difference.
✨ One community can make a difference.
✨ And when we carry our lights together, the path becomes brighter for everyone.
Along our walk, Mrs. Alicia will share an original story written especially for this evening, with the story unfolding as we journey together beneath the autumn sky.
And when our walk is finished, we'll return to the fire—to warm drinks, autumn-themed refreshments, laughter, fellowship, and time to linger together.
Because perhaps that is what a season of change is really about.
We don't have to have everything figured out.
We don't have to illuminate the entire road ahead.
We simply carry the light we have.
And we walk together.
This is Meadowlight House's first season of change.
And we couldn't imagine a more beautiful way to begin it.
