Join us in Cape Charles for a powerful and inspiring Juneteenth Community Celebration honoring African American history, freedom, culture, and community during the 250th Anniversary of the United States.This special event will highlight the enduring contributions of African Americans to the American story through education, art, music, remembrance, and celebration. Designed to engage all generations, the day will feature three signature experiences: a historical lecture program, an outdoor community celebration, and a live art exhibition.

Join genealogists and historians Tyrone Goodwyn, Luke Alexander, and Kevin Eugene Graham for a compelling presentation exploring Revolutionary Era Patriots of Color and their deep connections to Virginia’s Eastern Shore as part of America’s 250th Anniversary commemoration.
