Join us Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 5:00–8:00 PM at Effie Kokrine Charter School for this inaugural event celebrating our languages and students.
The competition is open to students in grades 6–12, who will learn and spell words in Denaakk’e and Lower Tanana (Benhti Kokht’ana Kenaga’).
🗓 Deadline to register as a participant: Friday, April 17, 2026
This Doyon Foundation sponsored event is made possible through the support of our community, including our language champions Susan Ket’soo Paskvan, David Engles, Dewey Kk’ołeyo Hoffman, and Andria Moses, as well as partnerships with Effie Kokrine Charter School and the Yukon-Koyukuk School District.
