This month marks one year since the start of the Philly Pub Sing. Come celebrate with songs and stories! We'll have an *incomplete* list of the songs we've sung over the past twelve months. Everyone will be welcome to lead a song they sang before -- or a song someone else sang before -- and share a brief story from our past year together. And of course new songs are welcome, too!
We sing the first Monday of every month from 5:30-8:00pm at FERGIE'S PUB (12th and Sansom, 3 blocks from City Hall in Center City Philadelphia). Everyone is welcome! Feel free to bring any song you can sing or teach by ear. Or just come to sing along. And you definitely don't have to be a "good singer"...whatever that means! We've sung shanties, drinking songs, labor songs, work songs, old-time gospel songs, call-and-response songs, verse-and-chorus songs...even the occasional round. Instruments are welcome, but not needed.
And everyone is welcome to stay for the open mic that'll happen afterward, starting at 9:00pm!
