We’re really pleased to be hosting Forest School First Aid Training at Wrekin Forest School, delivered by the brilliant Peritia Training Ltd.
Peritia Training Ltd are an ITC First–accredited centre based in Essex, offering regulated first aid training across the UK. This course is designed specifically with outdoor learning and Forest School settings in mind.

What will the course cover?
Roles and responsibilities of a Forest School First Aider
Adult, child and infant first aid
CPR and dealing with collapse (with and without breathing)
Choking, bleeding, shock and minor injuries
Managing asthma, allergies, diabetic emergencies, heart attack, anaphylaxis, meningitis and febrile convulsions
Limb injuries, poisoning, heat and cold injuries
Using a first aid kit in outdoor settings
Forest School–specific scenarios, outdoor incident management, and caring for a casualty for longer than 10 minutes
We’re offering this course at a hugely discounted rate, giving you the chance to gain essential Forest School first aid skills in a real outdoor environment.
Refreshments included
Tea, coffee, squash, biscuits and homemade cake will be available throughout both days. Please bring a packed lunch. We’re off-grid, but we can heat things like soup on our gas camping stove.
