American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Course
The American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED course prepares participants to recognize and respond to emergencies involving adults, children, and infants. This course combines hands-on skills practice with real-world scenarios to build confidence and readiness in emergency situations.
Course topics include:
- Adult, Child, and Infant CPR
- Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- First Aid for common injuries and sudden illnesses
- Choking relief for adults, children, and infants
- Recognizing and responding to breathing and cardiac emergencies
- Controlling bleeding and managing shock
- Legal considerations and emergency action steps
This course is ideal for childcare providers, teachers, healthcare workers, coaches, security staff, foster parents, and community members. Upon successful completion, participants receive a 2-year American Red Cross certificationthat meets many workplace, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
Format: In-person, blended learning, or instructor-led (depending on offering)
Certification Validity: 2 years experience!
