First Aid at Work

Life Saving Training runs First Aid courses with a difference. Our courses and qualifications aren’t simply box-ticking exercises – they’re hands-on events that empower you and your staff to be able to confidently handle any first aid situation. Our customers leave with real life saving skills, not just a piece of paper.
Our three day First Aid at Work re-qualification is regulated, meets the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and is consistent with ERC 2025/ILCOR2025/UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines.
We tailor all courses to your specific requirements, no previous experience is required and this approved qualification is valid for 3 years. Spaces cost £250 + VAT each.
What’s covered on the course?
- The role and special considerations for the first aider
- Incident Procedure – How to systematically deal with any first aid incident, including the Primary and Secondary Surveys
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillator/AED use
- Record keeping
- First aid kit advice
We also look at how to recognise and deal with:

Bleeding
Shock
Injuries to bones, muscles, joints
Spinal injury
Chest injuries
Eye Injuries
Poisoning
Anaphylactic Shock
Minor and major illness, including heart attack, stroke, epilepsy, asthma and diabetes.
