FIRST: Begin with Prayer, Build with Purpose
"First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people." – 1 Timothy 2:1 (ESV)
When we seek God’s will in prayer, we find a joy filled and loving relationship as we await the full arrival of His Kingdom. The beauty of the Gospel is that Christ reveals God to us, so that we can know Him as He is and enjoy Him forever.
Before anything else, we pray. Join us on Thursday, March 6th, for a special night of prayer that will launch a 45-day journey of prayer and spiritual discipline leading up to Easter. This journey is inspired by the concept of small but intentional habits, building a rhythm of prayer that strengthens our faith and transforms our hearts.
Together, we’ll walk through a simple yet powerful model of prayer— P.R.A.Y.: Praise, Repent, Ask, Yield—and discover how starting small can lead to a deeper connection with God. Let’s prepare for Easter by making prayer our FIRST response, our FIRST priority, and our FIRST step in growing our faith.
