Dundalk’s Waterfront Independence Day Celebration:
🇺🇸Dundalk is going big for the Semiquincentennial! 2026 marks 250 years of American independence, and we’re celebrating with a massive two-day extravaganza. Because a milestone this big needs more than just one day of fun, the Dundalk Independence Day Parade committee and the Watersedge Recreation Council have teamed up to bring you a brand-new experience.
🎆The Main Event: Sunday, July 5th
Join us at beautiful Watersedge Park (at the end of Dundalk Avenue) for the inaugural Dundalk Waterfront Independence Day Celebration.
• 6:00 PM: Park opens!
• 6:30 PM: FREE live music kicks off.
• Dinner in the Park: Enjoy a variety of local eats from parked food trucks or bring your own picnic to enjoy on the lawn.
• 9:15 PM: The Fireworks Extravaganza begins.
🛥️A New Way to View: By Land or Sea
For the first time in history, the Dundalk Independence Day fireworks will be visible by boat! Thanks to the unique geography of Watersedge Park, this show will light up the sky over Bear Creek, offering spectacular views for boaters and residents across eastern Baltimore County.
