WE WANT YOU TO FIND YOUR TRIBE...Being men and women of service, you experience moments in life that most don't and we realize that talking to people can be challenging when their life experiences aren't remotely the same.
Witnessing tragedy week after week can become taxing and is a huge reason why we open the doors to first responders still actively making those calls and to post service responders and veterans who have been there - done that and quite frankly - UNDERSTAND!
Being Vets ourselves, we know first hand that post service can actually feel lonely and leave you a little lost without your structured life and no longer having that company bond you were so accustom to.
Many of us moved to this area - out on land and isolated.
Ya- you know your neighbors via a wave on the backroad... but that's usually about it. So, the depth of loneliness from such a drastic lifestyle change is real... we've lived it.
Opening 12 Fox has been a game changer - we've met so many incredible neighbors many that have walked in our shoes and we've come to truly love our little countryside community.
The idea of fireside chats came about during the 2020 shutdown, but it wasn't truly formed until the suicide of one of our amazing and inspirational customers really hit home.
Suicide is effing real and sucker punches you with a left hook leaving you wondering what on earth could have been done to stop it.
Survivors Remorse is REAL TOO and something that needs to be addressed - understood and not numbed out with a collection of VA chemical candy.
Fireside Chats started February 2023 and has created an opportunity to talk about the good, the bad and the ugly with peers.
We welcome you to come out - meet great people and who knows, you might just find your tribe and a new after the battle buddy on a Monday night over snacks and a beer.
We have been very lucky with the outpouring of INCREDIBLE Veteran run Foundations that are focused on helping Veterans and First Responders in our great state.
We've compiled a list and several Veteran Resource connections and some are actual vets that attend these meeting for themselves, but will connect you on a fast track - should you need assistance.
This night is about getting to know your neighbors and hopefully finding a new local connection to share the ups and downs of service life over a beer.
We are grateful for all of you that come out on Monday - we've had a nice mix of careers and experience levels join us.
We invite you to join us for a night out of the house with time around the fire or in the AC with peers - it's healthy...
