Innovation is accelerated when there is an ecosystem that creates synergies between private and public enterprise as well as government. Dr. Susan Windham-Bannister, one of the architects of the Massachusetts life science ecosystem, will speak about the pieces of an innovation ecosystem, the role of government beyond regulation, and how to structure partnerships that advance the private sector’s capacity to innovate.

Attendees will gain insights into how Massachusetts became the world leader in life sciences. Was it by chance or coincidence? Or, is there a strategy behind promoting innovation for public good?

Please join us for an engaging conversation with Dr. Susan Windham-Bannister.

Moderated by Dr. Payal Arya, Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Center for Integration of Science and Industry.

Presented by the Center for Integration of Science and Industry, the Center for Health and Business, and the Center for Women and Business.
