Firefly Phantoms is the sixth in a series curated by slink g moss of the Copake Poetry Society. Throughout the evening local writers/ artists/ musicians offer readings and songs of summer with unusual twists. Featuring Mary McLaughlin Slechta, Noh Bailey, Tallulah Woitach, slink g moss, Simon Davenport, Joseph S Lucas and The Rockford Elevens!
Mary McLaughlin Slechta is a fiction writer and poet from upstate New York. Her short story collection, Mulberry Street Stories (Four Way Books), was the 2021 winner of the Kimbilio National Fiction Prize, a Legacy Award finalist for the Hurston/ Wright Foundation and recipient of Central New York Book Award.
Noh Bailey is a performance artist, musician, and writer living in Upstate New York who moves between genres and disciplines, wielding form and style like blunt instruments against the absurdity of reality- while prying open its tender seams.
slink g moss is a songwriter, poet, and drawing practitioner originally from Chicago. His artwork and installations have been widely exhibited, and he is internationally known for his performances as a ghost cowboy from outer space.
Tallulah Woitach is an artist, writer, comedian, and mystic currently residing on earth. She regularly haunts the Hudson Valley with music, comedy, visual art, and hijinks. She enjoys things.
Simon Davenport lives in West Stockbridge, MA with his wife, son, and dog of 12 years. He plays music and writes poetry, and can still draw a map of the USA from memory.
Joseph S Lucas is a poet and historian. He was born in Pittsburgh in 1966.
The Rockford Elevens are a sensational pop rock trio writing topical songs about travel, dogs, jobs and life in the Berkshires.

Parking is limited at the venue so please utilize the three public parking lots in Town. One is across from the Post Office, one is behind Beacon Bank and the other is just off Main Street. They are clearly marked. Do not park at Trúc Orient Express Restaurant or the Post Office or you might receive a ticket.
