Day 1st:

6.30pm Report at station.

6.45pm Board train for Lonavala.

8.30 pm reach Lonavala station & take jeep/ rickshaw for base village.

9.30 pm Reach base village. Start with the forest trek till campsite , enjoy hundred of fireflies along the route.

10.30 pm reach campsite pitch tents in the desnse forest.

Have Dinner which you have carried from home.

Campfire & fun, Horror stories. Stargazing.

Day 2nd:

8.00 am wakeup. Freshen up. Click pictures.

9.00 am go back to base village. Have breakfast & Tea.

10.00 am Depart for Pune.

12.00 pm Reach Pune.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

▪If you arrive late or miss the train Team UTI won`t be responsible and refund wont be given for the same.

▪ If any delay in train, it`s not in our hands and we won`t be responsible.

▪Watching fireflies is a natural thing. If not seen due to weather or any other issues, team uti will not be responsible

▪Dinner is to be packed from pune itself. You will not get anything in lonavala. Nor we will wait to pack food. It wastes a lot of time. Nothing is available where we camp.

Washrooms are available at station only as We will camp in a forest. But our volunteers are there on the trek so need not worry they will take care of the situation are guide you to a safe place.

We`re going in the rajmachi forest. Not the fort. (As you cannot see fireflies near fort n it`s around 16 kms one way worthless walk).

Plz carry Raincoats with you incase of anything 

All those who are traveling on their on by private vehicle will have to park their vehicle at Lonavla Station or nearby only as we camp in the forest and can`t take vehicle till there. 

We provide only tents as our volunteers carry it from pune itself. So if anyone wants they can carry their own bedding material

Any addiction is strictly prohibited, e.g. drinking, smoking, chewing tobacco anyone caught doing it will have to exit the trek without a refund and travel back on own expense.

People caught smoking or drinking alcohol will be asked to exit the event on an immediate basis.

Swimming is not allowed in the lake or water tank on the forts. Locals use that water for drinking.

Please do not carry or wear any valuables, ornaments, jewelry, etc. If carried, then we Do Not take any liability for the same.

Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Trekking, or any adventure activity is potentially risky. For all these events, you are at your own risk. Organizers are not responsible for any accident or compensation in whatsoever manner.

Seats in the bus are on first come first basis. Once you get a seat at the start of the trip that will remain constant until the trip ends. No changes will be done with that. Our Volunteers will not take any part in seat allocation after the trip starts.
